Winter time

this is my entry for the winter challenge hosted by

it took me several days to finish this as i used many media for it "mixed media"

this is also my entry for December's art challenge hosted by

winter means so much to me .. it's so warm and cozy ... and by that i don't mean the fireplace xD but the feelings you have in your heart towards your  family , friends and lovers during holidays and the warm feeling when you are all gathered together
however it's a sad season as well .. it's cold and lonely in the same time .. and i understand it can be lonely for lots of people in this world that is missing peace ... i think about them a lot especially in this time of year and i pray for them to have the love and coziness they deserve .. hopping that someday i will be able to help them from all my heart happy holidays everyone  

tools i used :
- copic ciao markers
- polychromos pencils
- pastel pencils
- stabilo liners , white gel pens , Glitter pens
-winsor&newton white marker
-and for the final touch i added some panpastel
- and of course a mixed media paper

and edited the lightning/shadows with Picsart app

i think the background and birds were the hardest for me here , totally challenged myself there as i rarely draw any background or animals xD

i wanted to do a night view but since i wanted to add the birds soooo much i decided to do an early morning view to suit more
